Join us at Ocean Lovers Festival 2025 for RePlastique Runway Show a stunning showcase of wearable art crafted entirely from discarded plastics. This unique collection reimagines what society labels as waste, transforming it into runway-worthy fashion.
Designed by visionary artist Carolyn, the collection features a dozen striking outfits made from repurposed materials such as netting, twine, masks, canvas, tyres, and packaging - each piece a bold statement on sustainability and innovation.
ABOUT THE ARTIST - CAROLYN CARDINET
Carolyn Cardinet is a Melbourne-based artist and environmental activist who transforms discarded plastics and found materials into thought-provoking artworks that highlight the impact of waste on our ocean. With a background in fine art from RMIT, she has exhibited internationally, creating large-scale installations and wearable pieces that merge sustainability with creativity. Through her work, including projects like Plastic Rain and Plastic Problems, she challenges consumer waste while inspiring communities to rethink their relationship with plastic and the environment
