This Student led competition is searching for young eco innovators with bright ideas to help the ocean.

We want to help you help the ocean.

We are going fishing for great ideas that come from the bright young minds of our community.

Secondary school students are invited to contribute their idea to help the ocean in our Fish Tank Competition. 

We want to empower and give today’s youth a voice by giving them a chance to share their ideas and turn ripples of action into waves of change to positively impact the ocean.
 

Our panel of judges will select 10 finalists who will have a chance to pitch their idea to a live audience at the Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival on March 24, 2024 , with the top 3 ideas winning a share of our prize pool with cash, mentoring and more to be won!

Senior Prize winner - $5,000 (Yrs 10 – 12)

Junior Prize Winner - $3,000 ( Yrs 7-9)

People’s Choice Prize Winner - $2,000

We also have access to scientists, business innovators as well as financiers and further funding to see if your idea could be brought to life.

Fish Tank is a project-based learning challenge that incorporates the 4 Cs; Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication.
