WOMEN MAKING WAVES
This International Women’s Day, step aboard with Ocean Lovers Festival for Women Making Waves; a joyful, inspiring harbour experience celebrating the women shaping the future of our ocean.
Delivered in collaboration with Fantasea Cruising, Sydney Institute of Marine Science, Surfrider Foundation Australia, and Surfers for Climate this special event brings ocean science, sport, storytelling and community together on Sydney Harbour - one of the most beautiful waterways in the world.
What to Expect
Set sail for 90 minute morning of connection, conversation and celebration as we explore the harbour through the voices of women leading change for our ocean.
As we cruise, you will hear stories from some of the women who have turned ripples into waves throughout their ocean careers, from scientists at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS), a WSL professional surfer and record-breaking sailors - turning the harbour into a living classroom.
