WORKSHOP

WITH
KAL GLANZNIG

WHEN:  Saturday, March 21 2026

WHERE: Bondi Pavilion

The Blue Minds Workshop engages young people in a dynamic session that transforms eco-anxiety into positive action, using storytelling, mindfulness, and real-world examples to inspire hope and empower practical change for the planet.

The Blue Minds workshop is an inspiring, interactive session helping turn eco-anxiety into action. Co-created and delivered by author and founder of The Good Human Factory, Cooper Chapman, and Councillor & filmmaker, Kal Glanznig, the workshop uses powerful storytelling, mindfulness tools, and real-world examples to help participants protect their mental health while protecting the planet. It empowers attendees to find hope, take practical steps for ocean conservation, and realise the difference they can make in their own communities.

Kal Glanznig, a leading youth ocean and climate champion, created the documentary RISING UP, co-founded Plastic Free Cronulla, and launched Blue Minds to tackle youth eco-anxiety. A TEDx and UN COP27 & COP28 speaker, Kal was elected as an Independent Councillor for the Sutherland Shire and, while in high school, led a 100kW solar project that inspired 20 other schools to follow suit.
