Citizen Science Initiatives
Report sightings of fur seals and dolphins in Sydney Harbour to help improve our scientific understanding of these marine animals and their behaviours
Report a Sighting
We are asking 'citizen scientists' to collect donor shoots of Posidonia (a seagrass variety) from their local beach. These shoots are then used to restore seagrass populations under threat.
Get Involved
A haul-out occurs when seals temporarily leave the water to rest or reproduce. The NSW Government want to know where seals 'haul out' so report a sighting today whether you're fishing, swimming or just watching the waves.
