The Ocean Lovers Festival school excursion day is all about inspiring change. Based at the Bondi Pavilion and surrounds, the festival showcases innovative ocean science projects and educational content about recycling, ocean impacts and solutions for the sea. 

 

Students can meet and talk to marine scientists, learn about inspiring ocean restoration projects, participate in workshops, see Litter Art created by students, and enjoy some fun ocean science activities for all ages.

Based at the Bondi Pavilion and surrounds, the festival showcases some of the latest innovations, science, state-of-the-art technology and cool ideas for helping the ocean, and educational content about recycling, ocean impacts and solutions for the sea to inspire and empower visitors.

 

Students will have the opportunity to meet and talk to marine scientists, learn about inspiring ocean restoration projects, participate in hands-on workshops, immerse themselves in interactive art exhibitions, and enjoy some fun ocean science activities for all ages.

 

They can even drive an underwater drone and discover what lies beneath the surface at Bondi Beach, in real time, and talk to the Australian National Maritime Museum science educators.
