To mark Ocean Lovers Festival’s expansion into Manly for 2026, we’re activating one of our major headline community events - the Big Manly Beach Clean.

This new coastal clean-up event is led by Surfrider Foundation Australia, and brings together a powerful coalition of local ocean defenders including Wastebusters, Pittwater Co and Dive for Debris in a collective effort to protect the coastline and raise awareness of plastic pollution.

Across the afternoon, volunteers will help remove litter from the beach and foreshore, learn about microplastics and marine debris, and contribute valuable citizen science data that strengthens ongoing advocacy for cleaner oceans.

This is a moment to unite Manly’s ocean community, celebrate coastal stewardship and inspire action at a local level, because healthy oceans start with us.

Everyone is welcome: individuals, families, surf clubs, schools, businesses and community groups.
