Join Lucie Billingsley as we colour and decorate porcelain puffer fish and star fish!
What You'll Do
Lucie will guide you through her techniques in making and slip trail decorating her whimsical ocean creatures.
In This 4 hr workshop you will have an opportunity to
-
Prepare a precast lumina porcelain small puffer fish and star fish
-
Mix your own slip decoration colours
-
Decorate your star fish and puffer fish using slip trailing techniques
-
discuss and prepare textile finishes for your puffer fish- which you’ll add after the pieces have been fired
Your pieces will be fired and ready to collect 4 weeks after the workshop

All levels, beginners welcome
What You'll Get
Instructions in working with casting slip and slip trailing
An opportunity to colour their own slip using ceramic stains
Their own small puffer fish and star fish completed in the course. These will be ready to collect 4 weeks after the workshop
What To Bring
An apron and old towel
Wear closed in shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy
