Litterarty Competition
Students from preschool to Year 12 are invited to participate in the 2026/27 Litterarty Waste-Art Competition for the chance to win cash and other prizes including the opportunity to have their work on display at a Litterarty Exhibition at the annual Ocean Lovers Festival.
Works are to be constructed from rubbish and repurposed into an art medium by the students, for example sculpture, 2D, assemblage, mixed media, and collage.
Two Valerie Taylor prizes of $750 will be awarded to the Primary and Secondary School winners elected by the judges thanks to the generous support of Blue World. The Primary and Secondary runner-up will each receive a cash prize of $250. A People’s Choice Award of $500 will be awarded to the artwork with the most votes.
