Inspire your students with a planet-saving passion for ocean innovation at the Ocean Smart Schools Excursion, returning to Bondi Beach for the 2026 Ocean Lovers Festival.

Students will meet marine scientists, explore world-leading projects like Living Seawalls and Operation Crayweed, take part in hands-on workshops, enjoy fun ocean science activities, and even pilot an underwater drone to discover what lies beneath Bondi Beach in real time.

FREE SEA SCIENCE SHOWCASE
Secondary school students are invited to an inspiring excursion on March 27, 2026, featuring a curated theatre session with leading ocean experts from diverse fields of marine science and industry.
Students will hear powerful stories of career journeys, cutting-edge research, and real-world impact on our blue planet, before exploring the fascinating exhibits at the Australian National Maritime Museum. This engaging day aims to inspire students about how science drives ocean health and innovation, motivating them to pursue exciting ocean-related careers and study pathways.
